What to expect?
One of the general traits found in the Oil and Gas Industry is the presence of explosive atmospheres. Lightning is see as one of the potential sources of ignition and IEC 60079 recommends that measures be taken to protect explosive atmospheres against the effects of lightning by referring to Annex D of IEC 62305-3. This webinar is a discussion on the lightning protection process of explosive atmospheres within the Oil and Gas Industry.
